SDET Consultant / Software Development Engineer Tester 3

Location: Redmond / Sammamish, WA

Duration: 6+months

 

 

Job description:

 

Support function 
 
Minimum of 3 years experience developing or testing web services

·         Minimum 1 year of experience working on Cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS or similar tech acceptable)

·         Minimum 1 year experience with service perf/load/stress testing, preferably using Visual Studio Load Test tools.

·         Excellent coding skills in C#

·         High test aptitude with at least 5 years experience creating test automation

·         Strong communication skills; good team player with solid work ethic

·         Experience with work item tracking and source control using Visual Studio

·         Thrives in an agile work environment

·         2 big sub teams, and operate in SCRUM environment

·         Day to day operation/responsibility: with Sprint planning tasks are arranged and confirmed up to 2 weeks in advance to identify the work and set goals to be completed. Candidates will be expected to work these tasks and record the hours and progress. The work will be geared toward Test automation, Deployment, Test environments, Troubleshooting and logging bugs. All of the team will be responsible for quality

·         Tasks include: Test plan, automation, maintain test environment, seek out production issues

·         Candidate will be Active in the team's Sprint Planning process

·         Who will this Contractor interact with on a daily basis? (internal and/or external)

·         Some exposure outside of the team, frequent interaction with the SCRUM team. Will interact consistently with the team. 

·         Cloud Web Services testing is a MUST (amazon, google cloud = equivalent)

·         Visual Studio is a PLUS

 

TOP 3 required skills that candidates must have. 

 

1.)           Must know web services, development or testing minimum of 3 years

2.)           Some degree of cloud experience – Azure technology (MSFT cloud technology or equivalent)

3.)           C#

4.)           Writing test automation
