REQUIREMENT DETAILS:
Position: WebLogic Admin
Location: Herndon, VA
Rate: $50/hr C2C
Interview: Skype
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-5-6 years of Weblogic administration (10.3.5. 11C)
-5-6 years Operations management experience (ideally in a 24x7 environment) with outage and incident management
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills (great team player with the ability to work independently)
-Experience supporting Weblogic Servers in a Linux operating environment
-Experience working in a UNIX environment
-Good scripting knowledge, either Perl, Shell, wlst.
-Education Level: Bachelors Degree; Field of Study: Engineering, Computer Science
-Generally requires 5-8 years of experience
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
-Someone who has worked with in various capacities of Weblogic administration in a large, fast-paced corporate environment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Attending daily status meetings, providing updates
-Work on Weblogic environment build out and support
-Responding to e-mails promptly; taking ownership of the platform and being accountable to stakeholders
-Interfacing with and reporting to management
