Role: Validation Test Engineer / Test Lead
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities of Test Engineer:
· Create and revise Design Verification Procedures
· Participate in Design Verification Reviews
· Setup and configure Test Equipment
· Perform dry runs and formal Verification activities as required
· Perform dry runs for formal Usability test activities as required
· Perform remediation of Verification results as required
· Record and close defects found during Verification activities
Responsibilities of Test Lead:
· Periodically discuss work performance and any other issues that may arise as a result of this contract.
· Provide on-site team daily leadership, train new employees and provide ongoing daily guidance (work prioritization) and coaching.
· Onsite leadership to insure all Company's Environmental Health & Safety and other required online training is complete by date due; as well as promoting a culture of integrity and a positive work environment.
· Responsible for providing performance statistics on a weekly basis On-site management/ Operational Lead will schedule personnel as needed to maintain service levels /scheduling testing/prioritize team workload/manage schedules.
· On-site management/ Operational Lead will also be responsible for ongoing training of personnel and supervising their daily performance.
Requirements for both Test Engineer and Test Lead
· BSEE/BSCS or equivalent Technical Degree
· Experience as a Verification Engineer for 5+ years
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
· Detail oriented and meticulous worker
· Good organizational skills in recording test results
· Strong belief in quality compliance and following rules
· Strong working experience on setting up lab test equipment and setting up PC and Servers and deploying software onto target systems
· Knowledge of testing medical products
· Knowledge of FDA regulations required to test medical products
· Mindset to want to find problems in the product and be able to clearly explain steps required to reproduce the problem
· Good interpersonal skills and ability to present information to other engineers
· Fast learner in tools and willing to learn
· DOORs knowledge is desired
· ClearQuest knowledge is desired
· Experience with Tools for Electronic Test Execution of test procedures is desired
