Position = Sr. Web Developer
Location = El Segundo, CA ( Local Only)

Responsibilities include the specification, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of interactive television software applications utilizing HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
This developer will be an essential contributor to the entire software lifecycle: architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, deployment, maintenance and support. Will work closely with other team members in an agile programming atmosphere. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Must be a self-directed individual interested in a dynamic environment with cutting-edge software and rapidly changing requirements.

Our Sr. Software Engineer will be expected to:
Be able to interpret business requirements and translate them into functional design components with minimal direction.
Be able to accurately describe and/or present highly technical designs and systems to a non-technical audience (both verbally and written).
Report on status of projects to stakeholders and upper management.
Attend and contribute to project design and planning meetings.
Tackle complex software problems including coding, testing and troubleshooting.
Proactively research and recommend ways of improving performance and usability of applications.
Write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
Work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment and effectively multitask multiple priorities.
Occasionally supervise the launch of various on-air services during irregular hours (evenings and weekends).

REQUIREMENTS
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Practical experience developing and deploying web-based applications.
Background in interactive television application development strongly

7+ years experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Experience building Web 2.0 applications using AJAX
