Data Quality Analyst

Location: Greensboro, NC

Duration: Contract till the end of October 2015

Rate: $55/hr Corp to Corp

Interview Process: Doesn’t require an in person interview

 

Job Details:

·         Responsible for collaborating with business process owners under the direction of the Data Quality Lead to identify data opportunities and initiatives with a strong focus on the technological aspects of the existing internal prevention/detection/mitigation processes and systems of a particular business unit. This includes statistical analytics, process analysis, design and simulation. Ensure assigned applications are processing efficiently as designed to minimize production impact.

·         Perform data mining and aggregating, querying multiple data sources (Flat Files, SAS, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle etc.). Data validation to ensure accuracy, quality and integrity. Analyze data and provide results to other Data Quality Lead and business users. Make recommendations based on findings to the Data Quality Lead.

Required Skills and Competencies:

·         Bachelor's degree (preferably in a science, engineering, mathematics or computer science field) or equivalent education and related training. 3-5 years of data mining/analysis experience

·         Ability to work independently in a detailed and deadline-oriented environment

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly to internal and external clients

·         Ability to perform complex and sophisticated investigations, statistical analysis, and to ensure data integrity when performing analysis

·         Possess a strong sense of urgency, strong independent reasoning and analytical, organizational and operational skills. Ability to analyze, process, and communicate information timely and accurately

·         Experience with assessment of platform effectiveness, including post-implementation results validation
