Title: Network Engineer (CCNA or CCNP)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Locals)
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: Face to Face
RATE: $35/hr.
Summary:
The Network Engineer will responsible for a wide array of network technologies including, routers, switches, Nexus, wireless LAN, VPN concentrators, security devices and WAN optimization. They must have excellent experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting routers and switches.
The position requires a high degree of teamwork and collaboration across a global team. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English are required.
Job Description:
-Resolves complex network issues which impact the business
-Performs routine and preventative network maintenance
-Actively participates in projects requiring network support
-Participates in change management processes
-Recommends solutions for best practices, policies, and procedures, within area of expertise
-Collaborates with the team to track metrics and ensure that Service Level Agreements are met
-Collaborates with other operations teams (server, storage, backup, etc.) to determine ways to optimize -cross team processes
-Consistently ensures end-user satisfaction
Qualifications:
-CCNA certification (CCNP strongly desired)
-Advanced experience with supporting large network operations
-Advanced experience with routers, switches, WAN optimization, Wireless LAN, VPN concentrators, and security devices
-Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience
-Great communication skills
-Highly collaborative
-Energetic and self-motivated below
-Delivers consistently great customer service
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus/competitive differentiator
