We are looking for AWS Cloud Engineer (5441-1) to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client. This is 6 Months Contract Position based in Seattle WA 98101
Position: AWS Cloud Engineer (5441-1) Location: Seattle WA 98101 Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Details: Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only) * 1. Solid experience with Cloud and virtualization based technologies Amazon Web Services (AWS) 2. Experience with automation tools (Puppet, Chef) and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) 3. Migrating experience with existing on premises application to AWS.
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only): 1. web application architectures such as JBOSS or Tomcat 2. Experience with configuring databases to support various activities related to the system
Detailed Job Description: · The AWS Engineer will join a team of highly skilled professionals in configuration and deployment. · The job requires you to be able to contribute as an engineer by configuring, deploying and troubleshooting complex software applications at the enterprise level. · The qualified candidate for AWS Cloud Engineer position is someone who has a cando attitude and is an innovative thinker. · Coordinate with development teams, architects, and QA Teams to validate configuration with industry standard best practice
Desired years of experience*: Above 5 years
Education/ Certifications (Required): AWS Certifications
Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*: 1. Configuring, deploying and troubleshooting complex software applications 2. Migrating existing on premises application to AWS. 3. Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues
