Position: Capital Stream Tester

Location: San Ramon CA

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Develop test plans and execute tests for major and minor updates to various CapitalStream product implementations and customizations

·         Perform all aspects of testing including functional, regression and system testing.

·         Facilitate user acceptance testing with end-users as needed.

·         Create and track system defects and test resolutions to defects.

The Desired skills of the Capital Stream Tester include: 

·         Experience in all aspects of the software development life-cycle and exposure to different Agile methodologies.

·         Basic knowledge of HTTP/S, HTML, XML, REST, SOAP/web services.

·         Experience using tools such as JIRA for tracking requirements, building test plans, tracking test results and managing defects found during the testing process.

·         Experience using tools for automated testing of both Windows-based and web-based software applications.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superior analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc), client-server and web-based application concepts.

·         Proven self-starter with good organization skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

·         Solid knowledge of best practices, techniques and methodologies related to software quality assurance.

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related degree.

·         6 or more years of experience testing complex software applications
