- WebSphere Application Server V8, WebSphere Application Server V7.0 Feature Pack for Modern Batch, and IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment Compute Grid V8.0
- Installing the WebSphere software on AIX is a must
- Creating Cells/Nodes/Application Servers, Federating nodes and creating/configuring application server clusters
- Configuring Enterprise Applications and MQ/DB2 resources
- Configuring WebSphere Security using LDAP and DB2
- Automating Enterprise application installations and resource configurations using jacl/python scripting
- Understanding classloaders in WebSphere
- Understanding webserver plugin configurations
- Understanding J2EE platform.
- Basic Shell scriptting (maintenance for the Framework scripts and reports compoent scripts).
- Basic LDAP knowledge .
- Basic Java skills.
