Job Title : Sr. Big Data Engineer

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Duration : 2+ Years Contract

Interview Process : Phone Screen followed by F2F

 

Job description:

- 12+ years of relevant information technology experience
- Hands-on experience with the Hadoop Stack. Ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience with Hadoop, Pig, and Hive
- Viewing data and media metrics skill set with STB experience a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, and Pig. Not administrators, we're looking for strong users of these technologies
- Proficient with analytical and presentation tools such as Tableau and PowerPoint
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Teradata experience is a huge plus. We're looking for solid users not administrators
- Experience transforming large datasets into consumable assets for self-service analytics and reporting
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting Data Marts
- Should be familiar with Linux systems, including basic shell scripting
- You need to be flexible to changing priorities and comfortable in a fast passed dynamic environment.
