Job Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Business Analyst contractor for an approximately 12 month engagement for the Department's PMO Organization supporting the Integrated Access Control, Security and Intrusion Alarm (IACSIA) Project. This project is required to replace the current facility security and access system which is at end of life and no longer supported. The Business Analyst will be responsible for development of business requirements, test plans, test scripts and assisting with maintenance of project management tracking. This individual will be knowledgeable in all aspects of business analysis, testing and has a basic understanding of project management and system development life cycle. The individual must have proven experience with enterprise level COTS projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with NCDOT's Project Manager in assisting with solution documentation and project management tools to meet State IT requirements.
Role responsibilities:
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for work flow and business processes
• Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned
• Work with the PMO Manager, Project Manager, Business Customer and project team
• Develop and document test plans, scenarios and scripts
• Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects
• Consult with users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solution to meet Change Management needs
• Provide quality control for project deliverables
