Job Title: Oracle Applications Consultant with C++& PowerBuilder (6+ years)
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 15 Month(s)
Rate: $320/day on C2C AI (no negotiation)
Qualification:
• Minimum 2 years' experience, Bachelor's Degree.
• Should have progressing skills in Package Configuration.
• Should have baseline skills in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution
• 4-5 years of strong experience & Technical proficiency in developing C++ applications in Visual Studio environment, user reports with PowerBuilder
• Be comfortable maintaining & developing Order to Cash application using a variety of languages that primarily includesC++, PowerBuilder
• Ability to assist technical teams with troubleshooting SQL code, SQL queries, failed interfaces and processes.
• Must have the ability to quickly identify problems and work with Application Services team to implement solutions with minimal downtime.
• Functional knowledge of Financials/SCM Specifically AP, AR, GL, Billing, Inventory.
• Must have strong critical thinking skills, using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong customer service background.
• Detail oriented, with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Design and Vendor Management.
• Support, develop, test and document highly reliable client and server-side systems in a structured environment.
• Support the production environment, assist in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents, and maintain the stability and integrity of systems.
• Develop within a controlled process including design and code reviews.
• Work with other technology groups & environment.
• Liaison between functional users of the enterprise Financials and SCM systems and technical support staff to ensure the system is meeting the business needs of the organization.
• Work in conjunction with the Technical subject matter experts to support functional users of Financials and SCM in the day to day use of and optimization of the system.
• Attend project status meetings to review project progress and present risks including issues and constraints that are impeding or may impede project performance. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Prepare and issue requested project status reports covering all assigned pending and current project activities.
• Ensure compliance with the management process and procedures to ensure changes to production environment are implemented in controlled manner with applicable testing and approvals.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and coordinate support when needed.
• As needed gather requirements, design, build and test solutions to production fixes and enhancements per client specifications.
• 70% Application Maintenance, Incident Tickets Handling, Meeting resolution SLAs
• 20% Coordinate daily activities, backlog clearance, troubleshooting, Minor Enhancements to the application
• 10% Management reporting and coordination among various user groups
