Job Title : Java Developer
Location : Dallas, TX
Duration : 6 months (C2H)
Interview Mode : Telephonic followed by F2F (F2F is must)

Job Description:
· Formulates concepts and develops solutions using defined user requirements. Works with the customer to clarify and further define requirements, as necessary.
· Designs, codes, tests and documents new systems or enhancements to new or existing systems of moderate complexity and scope, working with common applications designs and specifications, utilizing industry and System standard procedures, products and methodologies.
· Adapts frameworks and best practices established for the project or unit, or by the System or industry.
· Will support the transition of code and scripts from the Solaris operating environment to AIX. Prior experience in AIX is a plus.
· May assist with the implementation and creation of automated testing scripts using standard tools from the industry. Experience with tools such as Selenium and WATIR is a plus.
· May perform other duties as assigned by management or as required by the position.
Minimum Qualifications
o Three years of proven application development experience that includes creating distributed applications through analysis of specific business requirements.
o Three years of Java and JEE programming experience.
o In-depth understanding and demonstrated use of object-oriented design principles.
o In-depth understanding and demonstrated use of JEE patterns and frameworks.
o Practical experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tool (i.e. Subversion, Clear Case, etc.).
o Experience with MVC frameworks (Spring, Struts, JSF).
o Experience with the Rational Application Developer (RAD) or Eclipse tool.
o Experience working with Application server (i.e. WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS).
o Experience with developer testing practices (i.e. JUnit) and understands the differences between unit, functional, and system tests.
o Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (i.e. Selenium, WATIR)
o Experience with the Unified Process (UP) or agile software development methodologies.
o Experience with and is willing to initiate sharing knowledge with others.
o Ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.
o Ability to quickly learn and practically apply new concepts or principles which can be confirmed by experience.
o Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
