Location: Sunnyvale CA
Horton works Hadoop production support experience is mandatory.
* Overall 7+ years of experience and minimum 5+ years working in Hadoop eco system support.
* Must have independently managed distributed application deployment production performance monitoring
Should know cluster build through Ambari.
Cluster issue resolution experience is must.
Knowledge & experience of working of kerberose, pig, Hive/Tez, Hbase, Storm, Solr, Zookeeper, Oozie, (Horton works landscape)
* Maintenance of Production cluster, Reporting Clusters and other reporting platforms like MySQL, Teradata and Redshift.
Ansible knowledge would be advantage.
* End-to-end data pipeline management, handling production incidents.
* Maintaining cluster health and HDFS space for better performance
* Good communication, problem solving interpersonal skills
* Self-starter with minimum supervision, confident detail oriented person Overall sysadmin experience
