JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work with OIT Developer to create a .NET MVC application in C# that leverages SQL Server Reporting Services in order to perform some basic data validation & aggregation operations and present end users with output in both MS Word and MS Excel formats.  This internally facing web application will utilize an existing .NET portal in order to perform proper authentication and role authorization tasks.  Contractor will be paired with a new .NET developer and will be expected to use peer programming, and mentoring techniques in order to properly train this new developer in MVC, C#, SQL Server Reporting Services and related technologies.  Although the actual development effort is fairly basic, we have allocated three months for this effort in order to accommodate the training and mentoring activities required for this assignment.

COMBINED DOE/DEP REQUIREMENTS:
•    MVC: Advanced; 3+yrs.
•    Windows7: Advanced; 3+yrs.
•    C#: Advanced; 3+yrs.
•    .NET Unit Testing: Beginner/Intermediate; 1-2yrs.
•    MS Visual Studio: Advanced; 3+yrs.
•    Visual Studio Online/TFS: Intermediate; 2+yrs. (Used for source control)
•    SQL Server Reporting Services: Intermediate; 2+yrs. (Used to render output in MS Word & MS Excel format)
•    SSIS: Intermediate; 2+yrs.
•    Oracle: Intermediate; 2+yrs. (Used to store business data)
•    Microsoft MVC: Intermediate; 2+yrs.
•    Microsoft Entity Framework: Intermediate; 2+yrs.

PREFERRED:
•    SQL Server 2012: Beginner/Intermediate; 1+yrs. (Used by existing authentication & authorization Portal)
