Position:  SQL Developer

Location:  Elkin, NC   (work must be onsite)

Length: 6 Months (probably not extended)

Start date:  8/15

 

Need experience SQL Developer.  Must have strong SQL and SSIS experience with extensive T-SQL skills as well as complex queries, stored procedures, packages, triggers.   Will be analyzing, writing, maintaining and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.  Will also developing several reports.  Would be nice to have any warehouse or automation experience as well as .NET

 

 

Expected activities

·         Modify complex existing T-SQL stored procedures.

·         Develop stored procedures, tables and triggers with T-SQL

·         Create T-SQL scripts to perform complex queries and complex data manipulations

·         Develop and test import and export SSIS packages

·         Diagnose and fix bugs in conjunction with QA team

·         Contractor should have some flexibility with work hours.  During integration testing after hours and/or weekend work may be required.

 

Required Qualifications

·         MS SQL Server with T-SQL – 5 plus years' development experience

·         SQL Server Integration Services experience

·         SQL Server 2008 R2 experience

 

Additional qualifications that would be a plus:

·         Experience with developing applications in a real-time environment

·         Experience working with Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System

·         Experience working with Visual Studio VB.NET applications

·         Familiarity with .Net Framework and XML
