Position: AWS Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months +
Sr. Cloud Architect
Requirements:
At least 10+ years enterprise IT operation and application experience that includes at least five years of DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture. Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS. Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution. Hands on experience with AWS and a strong understanding of AWS capabilities and limitations. Ability to design and deliver solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability while accounting for development and maintenance costs. Prior experience in a technical consulting role. Experience with emerging technologies such as Containers/Docker and Micro-Services a big Plus. Understanding of infrastructure and security requirements, such as PCI and PII. Demonstrated ability in evaluating and recommending technologies as part of an overall strategic plan, including establishing priorities, developing long-range plans, and managing strategically. Strong communication skills (written / verbal) with varied audiences. Experience modeling as-is and to-be architectures based on business requirements. Good understanding and demonstrable knowledge of implementing automation tools in environment.
