SUMMARY
Over 8+ years of extensive experience, including 4 years of USA experience working with MS-BI Tool (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS), Power BI, SQL/T-SQL using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) 2000/2005/2008R2/2012/2014. T-SQL –
· Experience in Writing TSQL (DDL, DML AND DCL), developing/creating new database objects such as Tables, Views, Indexes, Complex stored procedures, function(UDF), cursors, and triggers, locking issues, BCP, common table expressions (CTEs), Backups, Recovery and SQL Server Agent profiler using SQLSERVER 2000/2005/2008 R2/2012/2014.
· Experienced in business rule implementation via stored procedures.
· Extensive knowledge in dealing with RDBMS including E/R Diagrams, Normalization, Constraints, Joins, Keys and Data Import/Export.
· Hands on in Creating Linked Server Objects for SSAS DB and Oracle DB.
· Performance Tuning in SQL Server – Using SQL Profiler, HINTS, Effective use of DMV'S/DMF's, Parameter Sniffing, DBCC commands, Partitions & Partitioning, Bulk Loading Data (BCP), Indexed Views & Schema Binding, Clustered/Non Clustered Indexes.
· Experience in working with performance monitoring tools to monitor the memory used, long running queries, consistency errors.
SSRS –
· Created reports using different Data sources like MS SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Oracle.
· Created reports such as Parameterized, Cascading, Drill down/ Drill through Reports, Charts and specialized in producing Sub Reports using Relational data warehouse and OLAP Cubes.
· Experience in developing several Detail, Summary reports including line and pie charts, trend analysis reports and sub-reports according to business requirements using SSRS.
· Experience as Report Writer for understanding each client business reporting requirement, designing, creating and maintain of simplex to complex reports.
· Experience in generating reports for OLTP and OLAP databases.
· Experience with scheduling and the deployment of the reports and uploading files to a report server catalog from the report manger.
· Experience in generating on-demand and scheduled reports for business analysis or management decision using SSRS.
· Heavy experience in deploying and configuring packages, Error handling and batch logging, check points and troubleshooting Reports using SSRS.
· Hands on experience working with Self Service MS BI end user tools such as Excel 2010 (Power pivot), Performance Point Service (PPS), Power view.
· Developed the SSAS 2012 Multidimensional and Tabular model reports from Data warehouse using SSDT.
SSIS -
· Experience in developing SSIS packages for data migration between different heterogeneous sources such as flat file, excel, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MS access using SQL Server SSIS 2000/2005/2008 R2/2012
· Proficient in Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) process by pulling large volumes of data (VLDB) from various data sources using SSIS.
· Worked in Migrating of DTS Packages to SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) from Lower Version (2000/2005) to Higher Version (2005/2008/2012) and troubleshoot migration issues.
· Experience in designed Data Conversions from wide variety of source system using SSIS.
· Experience working with different SSIS Configuration options and Deployment Methods for different environments use.
· Experience in Performance Tuning in SSIS packages by using Row Transformations, Block and Unblock Transformations.
· Experience working with Data Cleansing technique in ETL process.
· Hands on experience working with different types Dirty Data from different sources.
· Hands on experience loading Data warehouse for both Dimension tables and fact tables by initial load/ongoing load process using SCD, MERGE, CDC, Parent/Child SSIS packages.
· Experience in Loading Data from Microsoft SQL Azure.
· Excellent Hands on Logging, Error handling using Event Handlers pre and post for SSIS Packages.
· Experience in working MDS (Master Data Services) or MDM.
· Handling Code check-ins and version control using TFS (Team Foundation server).
· Having experience on SQL Server PDW.
SSAS - (Multidimensional & Tabular)
· Strong experience in Creating, Designing and Processing a Multi-Dimensional Analysis Cubes (Configured Cubes, Dimensions, Measures, MDX Queries, DAX Data mining, Data Source, Data Source Views and following Star and Snow Flake schema) using SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 Analysis Services (SSAS).
· Hands on experience in creating Partitions using table binding, Query binding and dynamic partitions(Daily, Monthly...)
· Worked with creating Perspectives to improve Cube Performance by hiding unwanted data.
· Excellent hands on experience in creating groups and measures, KPIs.
Power BI:
• Responsible for creating SQL datasets for Power BI and Ad-hoc Reports.
• Expert on creating multiple kind of Power BI Reports and Dashboards.
• Adding SSRS reports to Power BI dash board.
