This is a 2 Year Contract for a Web Systems Administrator in Albany, NY
 

 
 Mandatory Requirements:
 
Specialist

• Experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer- The Authorized User may seek Specialists in the following areas (list is not exhaustive):Backup and Recovery, Security
  Expert – 84+ Months: 

• Candidate is able to provide leadership of large teams and/or extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field
  Desired Skills:

• 84 months experience performing enterprise level JEE application server platform and Apache Web server installation and configuration (Apache Virtual Hosting & Shared Hosting Experience)
• 48 months experience performing JBoss and Apache troubleshooting and log analysis
• 60 months experience in defining and implementing standards and processes for capacity planning, deployment strategies and tuning aspects of an enterprise level JEE application server/web server platform
• 48 months experience performing JBoss clustering, load balancing, DNS based load balancing, 3rd party load balancers.
• 48 months experience with JBoss Web Server and Application server performance tuning
• 48 months demonstrated knowledge/experience with Shell scripting
• 48 months experience of Linux system administration, networking and OS concepts, as it pertains to managing the JBoss enterprise platform.  (DNS, Messaging, SSL)
• 12 months Dynatrace application performance monitoring , log analysis.
• 48 months experience preparing documentation in support of experience performing enterprise level JEE application server platform and Apache Web server installation and configuration, defining and implementing standards and processes for capacity planning, deployment strategies and tuning aspects of an enterprise level JEE application server/web server platform, J2EE application development, performing JBoss clustering, load balancing, DNS based load balancing, performing JBoss and Apache troubleshooting and log analysis, JBoss Web Server and Application server performance tuning, planning and coordinating JEE platform maintenance activities, installing and configuring JBoss Operations Network (JON) at the enterprise level, Shell scriptin.
