1. Websphere Portal Developer - (Existing requesition)

Skill set:

Operating Systems: Exposure to AIX or UNIX and Microsoft windows operating systems - Required

Languages: Java (J2EE), SQL -Required
-At least 5 years experience using java

Web Technologies: Java Server Pages , HTML, java script - Required

Frameworks: Exposure to Spring MVC pattern, JQuery or DOJO - Required

Web services: Exposure to creating portal solutions using web services - Required

Version Control: Understanding of best practices for keeping software versions, able to work with branches, and able to merge software versions - Required

J2EE Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) or IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA) - Required

System Administration: ability to troubleshoot Websphere Portal Server assist in the application of system fixes and to install new portlets.


The candidate must be able to clearly convey ideas in English and have a disposition to be able work in multiple tasks and adapt to priority changes quickly. Furthermore the position will required that the candidate be able to assist in the preparation and gathering of both functional and technical specifications.


Profile:

Education: BS in Computer Science or related field

The professional background of the candidate should have exposed him/her to position like this:

- Senior Portal Developer /Web Developer
- Websphere portal developer
- J2EE Developer
- Java Developer
