Our client is in the banking industry, and this individual will work on the New Accounts project they are just beginning. This project focuses on streamlining the process to set up a new bank accounts both online and in a bank branch. It will be mostly new development.

Responsibilities :
This individual will lead the development team in the creation and documentation of new REST services that are key to the development of new applications and the migration of existing associate facing CRM applications
They'll head up software development of new and existing internal applications.
Production support of new and existing internal applications
Individual will be part of larger team that will be migrating to a technology stack that includes HTML5, CSS, JQuery and Backbone.js

Required Skills:
5-7 years of experience in a front-end Java development role
Advanced experience with Java OO programming
Key understanding of RESTful Web Service principles, concepts & guidelines. This individual should be able to BUILD REST services, understand why you would choose REST services over SOAP/Spring, and understand the methods of a REST service.
Working knowledge and proven experience creating RESTful Java Web Services using Spring and/or Jersey that communicate with back end SOA services.
Individual should have a background and experience as part of a team that developed applications using CSS, HTML5, OO JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Backbone.js, Node.js & MVC Frameworks.
