Teradata Data Modeler

Long term contract
Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis on business requirements
- Conducting interview sessions with stakeholders to develop high level conceptual and logical data models
- Develop fact qualifier matrix to support reporting needs
- Develop platform specific physical models and source to target mappings
- Assist in data warehousing and business intelligence development and testing efforts
- Participate in design, testing and deployment review process
- Conduct training sessions with business and development stakeholders on data models
- Develop high performance semantic / presentation layer for reporting and analytics
- Participate in enterprise-wide business reviews & strategic planning processes
- Contribute to data architecture standards
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree and above on science and IS fields
- Expertise in data modeling
- Familiar with various of data warehouse architecture
- Experienced in data modeling tools, such as ERWIN and Power Designer
- Extensive knowledge on Teradata database concepts and architecture
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
