Position: Hyperion EssBase Developer
Duration: 1 year contract (perm possible-more likely to turn into a 3 year contract!)
Start: 2 weeks
Must have:
Senior Hyperion Essbase Developer
• Seven years of experience is desired.
• Extensive knowledge of Essbase syntax and use of Essbase Administration Console (EAS) for creating calculation scripts, reporting scripts, MaxL scripts, MDX scripts, business rules, data load rules and dimension load rules
• Senior level experience implementing Hyperion Essbase applications and converting business requirements into equivalent Data Forms, Business Rules, etc. using Hyperion/Essbase tool set
• Senior level experience creating and maintaining Essbase Block Storage (BSO) and Aggregate Storage (ASO) cubes including Dense/Sparse settings and performance tuning
• Senior level experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tool sets (e.g. Oracle Data Integrator)
• Senior level experience in creating automation scripts for Essbase cubes using Esscmd/Maxl/MDX, Batch scripts.
• Senior level experience developing reports in Hyperion Financial Reports, Web Analysis (or Web Analyzer) with multiple dimensions and complex hierarchies
Create ASO reporting cube for position/employee data.
• Create ASO reporting cube focused on allocation data for both planning user and replacement for IT 'resource report'.
• HCP reports from those Cubes.
• Develop exception reports as defined by business owner.
