Oracle EBS Application Developer

Location: Laurel,MD

Duration: 1 year

 

 

General Description:  Analyze, design, develop, implement and support assigned enterprise complex projects. Work in conjunction with clients to resolve problem related to system design and implementations. Review and recommend approval of

functional and technical design documents, implementation of systems, program enhancements and application updates. Provide quality assurance, quality control and risk management; and schedule activities. Develop complex programs and reports in database query language.

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's in information technology or computer science;

2. 4+ years of relevant Oracle Utilities and e-Business Suite implementation specialist

3. Experience with report generators and user interface design.

4. Experience with reporting tools such as Actuate and Crystal Report.

5. Experience with SQL statements tuning.

6. Knowledge of theories, principles and standard practices in intelligent transportation system as used in transit agencies, public entities in the area of maintenance, materials, purchasing and warehouse management.

7. Knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, implement, integrate and troubleshoot systems software and hardware of all types

8. Knowledge of the functions of Oracle Utilities and e-Business Suite application modules and business processes including Work Management, Preventative Maintenance, Materials Management, Service Management, Asset Management, Purchasing, Contract Management, KPI and Workflow.

 

Specific Duties:  * Work as part of a team effort to elicit user requirement, configure and implement basic functionality, gain user buy-in, design integration and interface with Oracle WAM and legacy systems if required.

* Develop project plan

* Conduct configuration workshops

* Prepare proposed configuration document

* Conduct project kick-off meeting

* Define, document and develop rules, standards, specifications, demos, interfaces as part of the MWM solution to attain and maintain the level of quality desired for the solution

* Conduct user reviews of configured prototype

* Conduct end-user training

* Conduct post-production/lessons learned meeting
