Sr. JAVA/J2EE Lead.

Schaumburg, IL  or  Milwaukee, WI

6+Months Contract

 

Responsibilities:

Authoring design specifications containing pseudo code, class and/or sequence diagrams.

Creating & executing unit test plans & unit test scripts. Writing new software in Java/J2EE.

Debugging & taking ownership of previously written software in Java/J2EE.

 

Needs:

·         At least 2 years experience leading a team

·         At least 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE. Recent experience with RESTful  webservices, SOAP, XML, JAX-RS, Jersey, JSON, XML, JUnit,  JMeter, Spring Framework, IntelliJ and design patterns, such as, IOC (Inversion Of Control), DI (Dependency Injection), Service Provider, Service Locator, etc. Good interpersonal & communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently & collaboratively.

·         Ability to communicate design rationale.

·         Ability to prioritize & manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Ability to develop new approaches to design problems.

·         Must be organized & have an eye for detail.

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required

 

Additional Information

Must be willing to travel up to 25% to Milwaukee, WI
