Job Title: Datastage Administrator
Job Location: Southfield, MI.
Duration: 12 Months

At least 5 Years of experience in administering Datastage and InfoSphere platform on an UNIX environment.
· Perform Administrative activities such as Project/User creation, roles management, import and export projects, Db configuration setup, dataset management, BG/MWB/IA artifacts, SAP-PACK, WISD, and QualityStage component
· Monitor the platform and respond immediately to component failures and ensure 24/7 system availability; Work with other administrators to resolve any open issues
· Work with Vendor to co-ordinate patch installations, upgrades, and support packages such as SAP BW/R3 and CASS package
· Co-ordinate backup and restore activities for the platform
· Troubleshoot development issues and provide constructive solution
· Contribute to IIS Standards, policies and procedures
· Knowledge in real-time stages such as MQ, XML, JAVA, WEB components
· Knowledge in managing Business Glossary, Metadata Workbench, Information Analyzer, and FastTrack and help data stewards manage the business glossary content
. Troubleshoot issues with Business Glossary and resolve
. Troubleshoot issues with metadata Workbench and resolve
. Trouble shoot issues with Information analyzer – Determine the datastage job execution and resolve
· Knowledge in WebSphere App Server to support the platform
· Knowledge in GRID configuration is an advantage
· Strong UNIX scripting knowledge
· Strong communication skills
· Knowledge in Platform_LSF (Resource Manager), and CITRIX is an advantage
· Has thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field
· Encourages and supports others to perform their jobs more effectively (e.g., provides advice, tools and/or resources)
· Ability to technical-lead and work with other team members and to work with and understand issues and troubleshoot
· Drives toward the achievement of business results in a manner that focuses on profit, service, and value provided to the customer
· Demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends that could impact the field and the business
· Communicates in a manner that conveys credibility and confidence that he/she will deliver on the customer's needs
· Takes action to resolve customer concerns in a timely manner that exceeds normal expectations

· Experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, XML,
