Position : Java Developer

Location : Fort Worth, TX

Duration : 6+ months

EAD, GC or Citizens only

 

Required qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Core Back-end Java/J2EE Development.

Spring Framework

Multi-threading

SQL, JDBC, and skilled working with relational databases

UNIX or Linux

JUnit testing

Knowledge and application of OO concepts and design

Great teamwork and communication ability

 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with:

High performance Java applications

Applications managing large amounts of data/caching

Java batch and server side applications

JMS, MQSeries

RMI

Experience working in the financial industry is a plus

 

Client's technical environment:

Java 1.6, Spring 3, Eclipse (STS), Linux, DB2, MQ Series/JMS, Subversion, Spring MVC, EXTJS,

Tomcat, JUnit, Clover code coverage, Bamboo (continuous integration tool)

 

Senior Java Developer

The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and test new server-side and batch applications.  This will include system design and development activities which include but are not limited to analysis (understanding the requirements and proposing a technical solution), design (creating a technical solution using the client's approved software and standards), development (writing code to support technical solution that follows the client's coding standards and approved software), unit and integration testing (test cases that exercise the code that was developed to meet the business requirement) activities related to the project.  This is a large effort with a large development team that is broken up into smaller phases with 2-6 developers on each phase.  This project will be 100% new development.
