Description:
Stable company in the San Jose area is currently seeking a Crystal Reports/Business Objects Developer.
The ideal Crystal Reports/Business Objects Developer will be responsible for developing report specifications, creating, modifying, maintaining reports using Crystal Reports 2011 and Business Objects 4.
In this role, the Reports Developer will assist in scoping requirements for new web-based applications, converting executable applications to web-based, creating dynamic Crystal and Business Objects Webi reports and dashboards, as well as assisting in maintaining databases (SQL and Oracle).
The Developer will be optimizing reports for maximum reusability.
Will also be working with SQL database to create stored procedures, queries, functions and views to extract, manipulate and calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements.
The job requires interfacing with other departments to understand their report requirements, document, troubleshoot problems and support the defined business reporting needs.
This Reports Developer position is a multi-function position. Besides providing BI solutions working in Crystal, Business Objects (Webi, Dashboard), it would also be beneficial to have strong SQL skills and some web app development skills.
Requirements:
The ideal Crystal Reports/Business Objects Developer must have 5+ years of experience working with Crystal Reports 2011 writing SQL queries and SQL stored procedures.
Ability to meet project deadlines, good communicator and listening skills.
Strong organizational and self-managing skills as well as a strong team player.
Possess skills in .NET ASP, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic, XML, and Crystal Reports.
Possess SQL skills, with the ability to generate complex SQL queries.
Good understanding of SAP Business Objects (web Intelligence, dashboards, data)
