Major Accountabilities / Key Performance Indicators
- Develop custom components using C#
- Experience with .NET framework
- Write easy-to-follow code that is well-commented and follows C# and .net framework best practice guidelines
- Contribute to usability and design of the components
- Previous experience with thick client windows application development
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with team members from multiple global locations including Europe and Asia
- Ability to quickly learn and use new technologies with limited guidance and ability to grasp domain knowledge that will include high school-level chemistry concepts
Ideal Background / Capabilities
- Experience with WCF via soap/rest
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
- Previous experience with ASP.NET and web application development
- Familiar with MVC 3-4
- Javascript framework experience. Ie. Knockout, Backbone,
- Experience with HTML
- CSS experience
- json knowledge, asynchronous web service calls via browser
- jQueryUI and plugins experience
- Manipulate and process data and elements on the pages using jQuery and javascript generic objects and generic types where applicable
