OBJECTIVE
Obtain the services of an Application Server Administrator Consultant to provide support for the Application Server Administration Section
DUTIES
The Consultant shall have the following duties:
· Design and implement High Availability Oracle Access Manager Server architecture following established ASA best practices.
· Design and implement Disaster Recovery Oracle Access Manager Server solutions following established ASA best practices.
· Install, configure, test, and implement Oracle Access Manager Server software and components, including new releases and applicable patch releases.
· Analyze and resolve Oracle Access Manager Server software errors and reported problems from all environments (i.e., development, test, quality assurance, training, production, Disaster Recovery etc.), and coordinate fixes with software vendors and customers.
· Prepare, coordinate, and execute change control to correct issues and enhance both production and non-production systems.
· Provide 24x7 on-call support for production systems.
· Assist ISD Project Managers to coordinate tasks for the Oracle Access Manager implementation.
· Provide documentation on the Oracle Access Manager and knowledge transfer to ISD staff.
· Research, establish, and document protocols and processes to meet new technical challenges and issues.
· Provide written status reports to County management upon request.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must meet all of the following qualifications:
· Two (2) years' experience in the last three (3) years as a system administrator supporting production Oracle WebLogic Server software.
· Two (2) years' experience in the last three (3) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite database and application server software.
· One (1) year experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle internet Directory or Oracle Identity Manager or Access Manager Server software.
· Two (2) years' experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator working in an environment with formal change control processes.
· Two (2) years' experience in the last five (5) years as a systems administrator working in an environment with HA/DR capacities.
