Job Title:SOA Architect

Duration: 6 months

Location: New York 

DIRECT CLIENT AND EXCLUSIVE REQUIREMENT

 

The responsibilities would include:

 

1.Work with an industry standards team to complete and finalize the set of services descriptions and choreographies at the conceptual level but including sequencing, input and output parameters, and data package descriptions as well as the foundational business rules.  This needs to be completed in a concentrated, rapid manner and be high quality documentation.

2.To work with and provide guidance to Choice Solutions to integrate these APIs and Service calls into our product offering.

3.To work with one of our large state clients to integrate these services into their application eco-system.

 

We are looking for someone with

 

•extremely strong and practical web services knowledge (preferably both SOAP and REST protocol knowledge),

• very strong documentation skills ,

•the ability to drive a multi-faceted project with hard timelines and produce quality work.

•a strong ability to bring order to chaos and be able to listen to the consumer's requirements with a mature and seasoned ear and be able to turn those into technical specifications.

•A strong ability to work in a collaborative design environment where there are many potentially conflicting political agendas and hold true to the short term and long-term goals.

 

This will be a unique an dynamic opportunity to make a huge difference in the US education space and to be at the core of a large-scale update to the national standards and the first implementation of those standards.
