Description:
* Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
* Lead the planning and implementation of project.
* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
* Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

* Define project tasks and resource requirements.
* Develop full scale project plans.
* Assemble and coordinate project staff.
* Manage project budget.
* Manage project resource allocation.
* Plan and schedule project timelines.
* Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
* Provide direction and support to project team.
* Quality assurance.
* Constantly monitor and report on projects of the project to all stakeholders.
* Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
* Project evaluations and assessment of results.
* Responsible for running complex IT projects in support of the Core System Project (CSP); which includes handling work streams / tasks that are involved in design and development, and implementation.
* Ensures that all IT work streams follow the standard procedures that are used in the management and deployment of project.
* Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation. Responsible for integration management - consisting of project plan development, project milestones, project deliverables, project plan execution, and integrated change control activites.
* Responsible for Scope Management - consisting of project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activities at Program and Work Stream levels. Identifies and solves project issues effectively at Program and Work Stream levels.
* Performs Work Stream assessment and evaluations through status reporting and team meetings.
* Reports the Program progress as well as the problems to senior management and/or stakeholders. Design and maintains program / project documents and technical documentation.
Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, or related business area.
* Knowledge of Healthcare data elements.
* Managed care experience is a must.
* PMP certification
* Experience with process improvement methodology including defining and documenting workflow.
* Proven ability to work closely with the busness community as well as developers in a tactful manner
* Experience with workflow tools.
* Basic understanding of data models and SQL.
* Working knowledge of MS Office, Visio, project plan.
* Able to articulate and follow the project management and ADLC lifecycles
