RESPONSIBILITIES

•Work with the SOA Architect and Integration Architect to ensure integration solutions operate within and comply with the enterprise SOA governance framework.

•Collaborate with multiple development teams and organizations to design integration solutions that meet their functional and delivery needs.

•Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and network engineers to assign with design, expansion and maintenance of our integration infrastructure.

•Collaborate with quality assurance teams and other development organizations to design test strategies and deploy test environments that meet the needs of their projects.

•Lead and mentor integration developers inside and outside our organization in integration best practices.

•Educate our customers and partners an all levels of the organization on our integration strategies and design patterns.

•Deliver high quality integration components technologies.

•Assist development managers with scoping and estimating solutions for proposed projects.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

•A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or other related degree required

•At least 6 years of application analysis, design, development and maintenance experience:

•Strong and advanced C# development background.

•Design Patterns experience.

•6+ years of experience developing on C# and .Net.

•Advanced experience with WCF at least 10+ years of experience is required

•Diagnosis and testing of WCF services is necessary.

•Strong understanding of SQL and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures, etc

•Strong exposure to object oriented design and development is required

•Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting Windows/IIS platform experience is required

•Proficiency using Visual Studio 2010/2012 and a Source Control Solution like Visual SourceSafe or Team Foundation Server Unit Testing, Mock frameworks, Dependency Injection, Understand SOLID OO principles

•Ability to optimize and refactor other people's code as well as your own

•3 years of Agile software development experience preferred

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills using spoken English, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise throughout the organization and with potential business partner

•Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others and conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

•Ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to management

•Proficient local syntax SQL (Standard Query Language) skills with the ability to understand relational data models

•Ability to understand and apply basic software implementation methodology concepts

•Working knowledge of SOAP and REST web services

•Proficient analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate existing or proposed new solutions for potential flaws or improvement opportunities – including alignment to departmental goals and standards

•Experience leading and mentoring technical development team.

•Demonstrated solutions development ability, including innovative thinking, creative problem solving, and the ability to execute quickly while maintaining high quality expectations

•Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities

•Ability to remain highly effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization

•Demonstrated ability to develop and support scalable services technologies with strict SLA's and high throughput

•Commitment to  policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities

•Working Knowledge of Retail Systems and processes preferred
