Description:

The client has an immediate need for guidance in our Teradata data mining effort.

 

It will be expected that client's personnel will be involved throughout the process in order to promote knowledge transfer.  As determined by the client project manager and or resource manager, checkpoints will be initiated throughout the engagement to review progress and determine if any performance improvement remediation can/should occur.

 

2.  Qualifications and Experience of SME

A.  5 years' experience working with Teradata applications. 

B.  Proficient with Cognos report writing

C.  Proficient in SQL writing in Teradata

D.  Oracle database experience

E.  Experience with data mining and analytics

F.  Experience with Java.

G.  Experience with .net

 

Under the direction of client, this resource will complete all assigned tasks as designated by them.  All work will be completed at client's job site within the timeframes agreed to by the vendor and client in the project's project plan.

 

As taxes are moved into the State Taxation Accounting & Revenue System (STARS) and portions of this data convert into STARS, the STARS data has to be integrated back into Teradata to give one comprehensive picture of taxpayer, account, case, financials and forms.  This is referred to as STARS integration.  This manages the data so that the programs do not have to try to figure out which system the data is currently in and to keep from double counting.
