Job Title  : DB2 DBA

Location  : Jersey City, NJ

Duration  : 6+ months

 

Required/Desired Skills:

4+ Years of experience installing/configuring/deploying/managing DB2 LUW queue replication and monitoring solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
Proficiency in Python, PERL, Shell Scripting and macros required, Java/JDBC a plus
Detailed knowledge of DB2 LUW queue replication including topology, configuration options, performance optimization, monitoring and failover/failback scenarios with automation
Understanding of MQ configuration options in support of DB2 queue replication
Significant hands on experience with Optim Performance Manager (OPM) from configuration (thresholds, alerting) and usage standpoints
In depth knowledge of and experience with IBM-provided SQL functions and stored procedures for analysing database and application performance
Excellent communication skills and willingness to do knowledge sharing with and provide training for other team members
