Major Healthcare Insurance client is in search of a data modeler with the following background and experience who will be responsible for the following:

 

Responsibilities:

1) Extending an existing data warehouse with new subject areas

2) Building all DDL (Index, partitions, table, views, etc) via ERWIN.

3) Writing the Source to Target (excel) Specifications.

4) Working with business analyst to understand the requirements

5) Assisting lead ETL in understanding how to load the physical

6) Leading the design efforts of the project

7) Following strong existing standards with arch team.

8) Data Profiling and discovery of outliers.

9) Updating a logical model

 

Required Experience:

1) Strong understanding of Normalized and Dimensional Modeling

2) Strong ERWIN skills

3) Self-motivated and works with team.

4) Strong English and dialog skills

5) Understanding of ETL

6) Reasonable general SQL knowledge.

7) Strong Database skill, Reasonable Oracle skills

 

Desired Experience:

1)Payer Health Care experience

2)A variety of industries (if not Health Care)

3)Medicare Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

4)Data Warehouse Design
