wwwLathaHR.com Need Sr. Back End Developer (10 Years of IT Experience is must)

Hi,

Please review below position and provide me with matching resume along with contact details.

Role : Back End Developer

Location : Dallas TX

Duration : 4 months +

No of positions : 3

Non locals are okay.

Client: Excentus

  Interview Process:

·         Step One: Video Interview (30-minutes):  Video Interviews are scheduled through GTalk (Google).  Candidate should have 2 forms of equipment (phone & computer) – Phone for voice communication and computer for video - Please inform your candidates to mute the audio on their computer.  The candidate will receive a call on the number provided for the interview from the interview team for the video interview.

·         Step Two: Final Team Interview - F2F Interview (if local) OR Video Interview (non-local candidates)

·         Step Three: Offer Extended

Job responsibilities :

·         Back-End Developers primary responsibility will be designing/coding the back-end/business logic of the application

·         Candidates must know best practices development and know/follow coding standards

·         Technical Skills Importance: Candidates need to have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts & SDLC – Next: Recent experience with the following technologies: Java, JEE, EJB, JMS, JDBC, XML, SQL and Web Services.  The team is not so concerned with which MVC candidates have experience with such as Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc. because if candidates come from a good programming foundation any Senior Developer will be able to pick up any MVC quickly.

·         Industry experience in Financial Services, Banking and/or Retail are a plus

·         The following skills/knowledge are a PLUS: CMS and Mobile Development, Secure Coding Practices, PCI Data Security Standards, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)

Java Candidate Interviews:

·         In the past, candidate resume looks good, but candidates are not able to speak to what they did with the technology.  IF IT'S ON THEIR RESUME IT IS FAIR GAME TO DISCUSS IN THE INTERVIEW.  Please let candidates know this.  We've had several interviews which candidates cannot speak to the technology or they do not have experience with the skills listed on their resume.  Candidates must have solid OOP & Java programming concepts knowledge – Most candidates are not able to answer basic Java programming questions such as hash code, pass by value, pass by reference, etc.

Additional Information:

·         What does the term "Core Java" mean?  Candidates need to have strong object oriented programming concepts knowledge – Need to have a strong foundation.  The interview team asks questions related to "Core Java" other terms "Object Oriented Programming Concepts" and find candidates are very weak in this area.  Most Senior Developers we've interviewed are not able to answer any questions related to this topic.

·         About Our Systems: Our systems (applications) are high volume (contains a lot of data) and transaction processing.  Candidates that come from the following industries: Retail, Banking and/or Financial Services tend to have experience working with a lot of volume (data) and transaction processing.

Thanks & Regards
