Job description:
· 10 years' experience on designing complex networks, implementing Software Defined Networking
· Cisco CCIE Certified
· Prior Experience: NX-OS, IOS, ASA, ACS version 5, Juniper Experience, JunOS (MX and SRX), Riverbed, Steelhead, Cascade, CMC, Netflow, NFsen, Raritan console server / Serial console, Linux scripting in Python and/or Perl, Software Defined Networking, OpenvSwitch, VMware vDS, NSX, AWS Security Groups / VPC / Direct Connect, Azure Data services deployment, BGP (specifically JunOS centric), ARIN / RIPE experience, RADDB – Prefix database

Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Detail description:
Develops and oversees the automation of daily operations of the production build, test, deploy and reporting pipeline on Linux systems. Builds, develops and manages all aspects of DevOps functionality. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
Responsibilities:
•Provide CI support to our development teams and owning the Release Management capability for a large capability.
•Improve our infrastructure and software through performance tuning and high availability solutions
•Define and develop system reporting and infrastructure health monitoring
•Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
•Perform basic engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance tasks
•Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with other team members
•Understand and use best practices for deployment processes and support
•Create tools to help teams both within DevOps and interdepartmentally
•Document configuration procedures
•Operational tool development, monitoring, logging, reporting, controls and automation
Basic Qualifications:
•5 years or more of experience supporting and/or deploying internet-based products or services
•A thorough understanding of System administration is a must, and specific experience with Linux required.
•Candidate should have experience in a DevOps culture, working with multi-disciplinary teams (developers, architects, operations, testers) to fully automate the application release lifecycle using modern CI tools such as Git/SVN, Jenkins, Grunt, Maven, Sonar, and so on.
•Advanced Ruby, Python (Jython), and JAVA programming skills
•Experience with web application development platforms, tools and utilities including JSP, PHP, JavaScript.
•Proficiency in authoring and managing configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, CFEngine
•Expertise with configuration and management of multiple web server platforms including but not limited to Varnish, Memcached, Tomcat, Apache, PHP, Zend
•Expertise with Web Caching or Load Balancing technologies such as Varnish, memcached, and HAProxy
•Expertise in monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Nagios, OpenNMS
•Experience working in a DevOps capacity, with Agile methodologies
•Experience working and developing scripts for VCS like GitHub, SVN
•Experience working with build systems like Maven and ANT
•Continuous Deployment mechanisms and integration tools, including plugins for Jenkins
•Experience managing site content and configuration via CDN providers
Candidate must have prior experience in high availability/high scalability robust environment preferably with ecommerce background. Core skills include: LINUX, Python (Jython), Perl shell scripting, Ruby, or Java Programming skills, JSP, PHP, JavaScript, Websphere, Tomcat, Apache. One position is available.
