Senior Informatica Developer

The Senior Informatica ETL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ETL solutions for large Operational Data Store and Analytic Warehouse. The position will also assist with data analysis, constructing technical designs, performing unit and integration testing, communicating with team members and business stakeholders, and supporting existing ETL applications for the creation and maintenance of operational data store (ODS), data warehouse, and data mart applications.

Responsibilities

    Responsible for the design, development, and support of ETL applications involving Receipt and Control, Error Handling, Warehouse Analytics and Data Dissemination

    Assist with data analysis

    Interact with other BI team members, business team members, and cross-IT staff on support and project activities

    Assist with task identification and effort estimates for ETL development

    Assist with risk and issue identification

Required Skills:

    Excellent SQL skills

    Strong understanding of Dimensional Modeling techniques

    Strong understanding of SDLC best practices with an emphasis on DW/BI practices

    Good exposure to B2B and DQ

Required Experience:

    8-10 years of relevant work experience

    At least 5 years of ETL application development experience with excellent ETL development skills utilizing the ETL tool, Informatica PowerCenter

    You must have demonstrable experience with Informatica B2B Data Exchange

    You must have demonstrable experience with Informatica DQ

    At least 4 years of ETL design experience with strong ETL design skills.

    4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent on-the-job experience
