Position :- Ariba Developer
Location :- Woonsocket, RI
Duration :- 12+ Month
Job Description:
3+ years of experience with Ariba Buyer version 9r1 is required
Develop, design, analyze and implement new applications and solutions in the Ariba Environment using Java, PL/SQL, Ariba AML, Unix Scripts
Work with IS leadership and business partners to understand business, functional and technical issues to effectively apply technical solutions
Provide ongoing production support and maintenance of information systems as assigned. May include rotational 24x7 on-call support or code implementation efforts
Analyze and correct system issues and respond to user inquires or problems
Share technical and business expertise with other team members, IS groups and business partners
Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver a quality project on time and within budget
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems
Participate in internal quality assurance review and post implementation support on system enhancements
Strong Analytical Skills "
Ariba Developer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames.
4+ years of relevant Programming Experience
Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills
Excellent reasoning and strong decision making skills
Identify areas for improvement, present recommendations and implement changes as appropriate
Experience in ETL packages Informatica 9 and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) are a plus
Experience with Web services integration
Good Design Documentation Skills
