Description- Remedy Developer
Location: Indianapolis IN
Duration: 12+ Months
Below is the developer- the description is elaborate, so as long as they have majority Remedy Development (versus Administration) and has worked with ITSM, please send.
Remedy was chosen as the tool to allow Client to meet CMS CR 8457, ARS 2.0 Security requirements, effective March 8, 2015. The ADDM, BCM, CMDB and Asset Management modules support that initiative.
Also, Client will implement the ITSM (Service/Problem/Incident/Change) modules allowing us to replace our current software that provides these functions today.
• Developer will assist with the implementation of the BMC Remedy software within the NGS environments.
• Perform day to day Remedy Administration
• Provide technical support of the Remedy Suite including ADDM, BCM, CMDB, Asset Management, Service/Incident/Problem/Changement within the production, test, development and DR environments
• Troubleshoot Remedy environment or application issues.
• Perform upgrades and patch installs in production, test, development, and DR environments
• Ability to integrate moderately complex hardware and software systems
• Create/modify Remedy workflows according to client needs.
• Create/modify Remedy reports according to client needs.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Interact with client management to answer questions and requests regarding system issues.
• On-Call responsibilities

Skills/Experience/Education Required:
• 5-7 years technical experience with BMC Remedy Action Request System, including 7.6x and higher
• 5-7 years of experience with ITSM Suite 7.6x and higher – Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management
• 5-7 years of experience with Remedy User Tool, Import Tool, Developer Studio, Remedy Migrator
• 5-7 years of experience with Crystal Reports and Remedy Reporting
• 5-7 Experience working in a multi-tenancy Remedy environment
• 5-7 years working in a Windows and/or UNIX environment
• Experience configuring and customizing Remedy 7.5 version and higher as desired
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
• Four or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering or operating systems programming.
• Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas
• 5-7 years of experience working with one or more structured programming languages
• Experience working with design principles and applications
• Good familiarity with ITIL terms and methodologies
• Good Analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of systems
• Excellent Communication skills to communicate with application developers, customers, support personnel and management; ability to communicate system proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems
• Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
• Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
• Leadership skills to assist less experienced personnel
• Mentoring and training skills to guide and direct work of less experienced specialists
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business Administration preferred
• 5-7 years implementing and supporting BMC Remedy suite
• 7+ years of Java development experience
• 5+ years of experience with Sailpoint IdentityIQ or Sun Identity and Sun Access Manager, J2EE Applications, LDAP, IT Security and Auditing, Policy based Access Controls, Single Sign-On, Network Monitoring and management, Perl and Shell scripting and UNIX system administration is preferred, but not required
• 5 years of CMS experience and or Medicare Operations is desirable, but not required
