Requirement:
Job Title: Tester
Position: 6 Months Contract
Location: Sacramento, CA
Job Description:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience testing and overseeing the testing of high-volume (more than 10,000 transactions per day), scalable commercial web applications with different software development life cycles (e.g., waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
Tests proposed changes within CalWIN application by creating system test and regression scenarios, test cases and executing to validate system functionality. Performs end to end manual regression testing
Experience with the following tools:
• SoapUI
• QuickTestPro (QTP)
• Application Life Cycle Management (ALM)
Experience with the following:
• JAVA web-based applications.
• The software interaction with Oracle databases.
• Web services
Experience testing the following:
• Conversion Testing.
• JAVA web-based applications.
• The software interaction with Oracle databases.
• Web services
• Experience in identifying and documenting test results and discrepancies between approved design documents and application performance
• Experience in testing role-based security
• Experience in testing applications with multiple stakeholders/customers with varied business priorities and varying levels of experience with automation systems
• Experience in coordinating and collaborating with a Systems Integrator System Testing team and development team
• Experience in testing various Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.).
