Project:
This position is responsible for the retrieval, manipulation and analysis of data with focus on SQL/Oracle, Hyperion and various Microsoft tools.
Tasks:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, upgrading and running SQL/Oracle and Hyperion queries against various data sources to include, but not limited to; CAAP, Migrations, Symlite, OM, eCUST, Statsdb, CSG, AMDOCS, TPP, SIKOMS, OMWB, NPS and Remedy TTS. Results will be inserted into Microsoft databases spreadsheets, and presentations for communication with business partners.
Additional tasks include:
· Perform root cause analysis and suggest system solutions or process improvements as required.
· Create intake requests for top issues identified.
· Co-ordinate meetings with various stake holders across multiple functional teams to identify solutions and process improvements.
· Development of SQL queries for monitoring transaction flow success and failures during system deployment as well as pre and post deployment validations for specific deployment changes.
· Monitoring daily Customer reported troubles (CRTs) as well as application transaction\error volumes and trends, notifying business partners as needed.
· Providing pre and post application deployment reporting and read out.
· Co-ordinate meetings with various stake holders across multiple functional teams to identify solutions and process improvements.
· Develop and run SQL queries to monitor accuracy of customer, provisioning and network data storage to identify data discrepancy issues.
· Provide weekly executive level metrics relating to end to end application performance from various business intelligence applications such as Hyperion and OBIEE. Facilitating and providing reports and presentations to any/all levels of the organization.
· Create audits to identify customers in an out of service condition, or database out of sync, and provide results to necessary business teams for correction or reconciliation.
· Creating, and maintaining, top error lists
· On demand ad-hoc query requests.
Requirements:
· 2-3 years of related data mining/system analysis experience.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong database knowledge. Strong SQL and MS Access skills.
· Ability to communicate effectively to audiences of various technical backgrounds.
· Ability to take ownership of issues and lead to resolution.
· Ability to adapt quickly to change.
· Familiarity with OSS cross platform provisioning systems a plus.
