Position: UI Developer
Location : Chicago, IL

Description 

The Senior Distributed Developer will be part of a UI development team to build and support the next generation agent application for contact centers. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and development skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments. This candidate will bring the UI OOP skills and knowledge to the team for developing the UI Web-based application that will be used by United Customer Service agents. The Senior Developer's and Senior Architect will assist. 

Tasks to be Performed 

UI Developer using JavaScript libraries land eventually lead into a Lead developer role. 1. Leading a development team with a mix of onshore and offshore development team 2. Assigning tasks to them and manage roadblocks faced by them. 3. Experience in being a scrum master. 4. Understanding the requirements, finding gaps in wires and services and communicating with the appropriate BAs and services team members. 5. Working in TFS defects/CRs raised by EQA and UAT team. 

Skill set Details 

1. Experience in agile methodology 2. At least three years experience in Knockout JS, HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript and Jquery. 3. Experience in Visual Studio 2012 and C# .NET 4. Knowledge in consuming WEB API RESTful services. 5. Experience in working with TFS in Visual Studio. 6. At least three years leading a UI development team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 8 years of general experience. 
-Deep understanding of RDBMS principles. Strong experience in data migration, data cleansing, and ETL development primarily leveraging Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, and Golden Gate. 
-Deep understanding of end-to-end data migration processes and tools. 
-Familiarity with the AWS Cloud environment using primarily Oracle RDBMS as the source and destination technologies for ETL development. 
-Support of transition of legacy applications from current hosting ("as-is") to new AWS hosting ("to-be") environment is beneficial. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
-Using primarily Oracle RDBMS as the source and destination platform, support the transition of legacy databases from current operations to an integrated, unified registration processing environment. 
-Participate in data governance processes, author data transformation scripts, perform data cleansing actions, and execute data integration/consolidation processes as part of the Unified Registration System data migration effort. 
-Responsibilities also include providing feedback and refinement of the Enterprise Logical Data Model (ELDM), data mapping workbooks, and ETL load logic and selection criteria.
