Our client takes an unusual approach than others. They feel that they request these type of "general purpose" to receive a high quality person and that they can "teach" the specific area that they will be placed in. They aren't real big in requesting specific qualifications.
Our client is looking for a "general purpose PM" to handle "Infrastructure". This individual should be versed in what is needed to handle new technology placements in new construction facilities. THIS IS NOT A CONSTRUCTION PM NEED. Merely an infrastructure PM that has experience in handling the installation, coordination, and installation of various technologies in a new build site. Our client has multiple facilities under construction and this person will be assigned to one of these.
This placement needs to be a "people person", very communicative, and collaborative.
