Role: System Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration:  12+ Months

 

Must have experience on Linux+ Windows+ Inforamtica MDM+ System Engineering+ Production Support.

 

Job Description:

•             Involve in installing and configuring custom applications from setting up POC, Development, QA and Production

•             Act as a liaison between multiple teams(BA's,  development, QA) both offshore and onshore, provide support to applications and teams as needed

•             Play an active role  in benchmarking and performance tuning custom applications

•             Deliver assigned deliverables within project timelines

•             Resolve production issues/fixes

•             Capable of working individually or as a team member

•             Should be flexible to work during US hours if needed.

 

Experience & Skills Needed:

•             5+yrs experience working in Production support, installing and configuring applications

•             Very sound knowledge Windows 2008/2012,  knowledge on Linux OS and Administration

•             Good working knowledge on Master data management tools(like Informatica MDM) and data vitalization tools(Denodo)

•             Good understanding of JVM, Tuning JVM's, Java processes and memory management

•             Good understanding of OLTP AND OLAP, basic working knowledge and understanding relational databases, Oracle/SQL server  and writing SQL's 

•             Analytical skills, should have ability to troubleshoot/fix issues independently.
