Job Title: Systems Administrator with (Altiris)

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 4-6 months

Our Client is looking for an Altiris systems administrator with a solid consultative background in design and delivery.

Responsibilities:

· Lead/execute Altiris implementation for the International Buying Offices (IBO)

· Update/Establish the Altiris Dev/Test environment

· Assist with the Altiris stores implementation

· Provide support

Required Skills:

· Experience building and administering an Altiris 7.1 Client Management Suite/Server Management Suite infrastructure.

· Excellent written and oral communication

· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

· Problem determination and resolution experience in a critical production environment

· Excellent conceptual and analytical skills

· Ability to work on a team or independently in a fast paced dynamic environment

· System Administrator experience

· Proficiency in SQL to write reports and troubleshoot issues.

· Proficiency with VBscript, Power Shell, command scripts, and other scripting languages

· Deep understanding of the following Altiris CMS technologies:

· Software Management Solution

· Patch Management Solution

· Inventory Solution

· Experience with other Altiris Symantec Management Platform based solutions, such as Workflow, IT Analytics, Deployment Solution 6.9 & 7.1
