Sr Business Objects Developer

Day in the Life:

• Business Objects lead developer using Business Objects XI 3.1 * Web Intelligence, Designer

• Analyze, architect, design and develop BO universes and reports

• Understand business process and business applications and their associated reports and SQL extracts

• Understand reporting database schema/model, identify joins/tables, perform data analysis.

• Create, maintain and update technical requirements document, design document, mapping document, Issues Log, UT Scripts

• Work closely with the Software Quality Management (testing) team. Provide resolutions to defects identified by SQM team; provide support during system integration and regression testing.

• Designs and documents BO & DW requirements by preparing diagrams, logic charts and programming specifications as required.

• Participates in problem resolution tasks and documents approach for support when applicable.

• Lead and /or participation in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support of *Small to Large* project efforts for dashboards, reports, integration.

What You Bring to the Team:

• 6+ years of Business Objects XI 3.1 WebI report development

• 6+ years of VERY strong Business Objects XI 3.1 universe development

• 6+ years of strong database skills * Oracle 10g/11g highly preferred

• Strong in writing complex SQL code, functions, stored procedures and ability to perform data validation and analysis

• Experience with versioning and migration tools such as NOAD EQM (Enterprise Quality Manager) for BO reports and universe migration

• Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is a big plus

• Previous experience in using Change Management and IT Ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Pilgrim and IQTrack for managing incidents and issues resolution is a plus
