We are looking for Senior Java/J2ee developers with strong passion for developing quality code and deep understanding of core concepts of java/J2ee technologies.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare technical design documents and participate in design reviews.
Design, develop and unit test application functionality.
Participate in the entire SDLC and interface with project managers , business analysts , QA and deployment teams.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide developer support for releases.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate would have:
10+ years overall software development experience
7+ years hands-on experience in developing Java/J2EE applications Demonstrated knowledge of Core java development skills including multi threading Demonstrated knowledge of J2ee web tier components and frameworks -- Servlets , Filters and Session Management components.
Demonstrated OO design skills and familiarity with GOF/J2EE design patterns Proven communication skills, both written and oral Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG
Preferred Skills
Prior experience with SAML and related SSO technologies is a PLUS Prior experience with Fraud prevention and authentication area Prior experience working with Linux and Solaris environments and associated scripting language.

This development position is to add new features and functionality to support ATM Host applications. Position involves analyzing requirements, designing solutions, implementing and configuring/deploying onto the target Linux systems.

· Oracle - group uses Oracle database so should have knowledge
· Financial industry background
This group is moving their middleware to an open environment and moving from Tandem to Linux. Also changing focus from non transactional (text mess/ email etc) to transactional data.
