Location: Mount Laurel, NJ

Duration: 6 months plus

 

SharePoint Administrator – with 4 years minimum experience.

 

v  Ability to Deploy and administer MS Office SharePoint Server 2010/2007 in a multi-tenant environment, as well as workflows, team sites and permissions

v  Familiarity with developing web parts, site definitions, site templates and custom fields.

v  Working knowledge of SQL Server development, administration and maintenance

v  Experience with Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint usage/trending and activity (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth)

v  Ability to review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites.

o   This portion of the role will work closely with an Active Directory administrator

 

The Data Base Administrator (DBA) interfaces with the Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Technical Engineers, Programmers/Developers, and other DBAs to translate the data needs and requirements of the business into the database environment.  The DBA identifies locations of data, tuning of data servers, system access and security profiles, and the overall operation of the database in the enterprise environment.  The DBA also participates in the rollout plan to ensure all tasks necessary for bringing the data on-line are achieved.  The tasks will address data importing and exporting, data scrubbing and cleaning, data conversion and configuration, backup and disaster recovery support, as well as system testing and integrity checks on the data.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The DBA's essential responsibilities cover a spectrum of duties, from extracting data from existing systems to final testing of production systems with several data conversion and configuration steps in between. The DBA provides data support at all levels of database support, from design to implementation.  The DBA assures adherence to data standards, interface guidelines, development methodologies, and modeling approaches.  The DBA will also monitor database performance, review logs, check backups, research data problems, make data corrections, tune the database, support disaster recovery, administer data security, and ensure overall reliability and integrity of the corporate data environment.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

v  Create, enhance, maintain and verify database system documentation; 

v  Provide database support from design to implementation as subject matter expert;

v  Develop and implement database standards and methodologies;

v  Monitor database performance and research, perform and recommend upgrades/improvements when required;

v  Analyze the database architecture to ensure optimum efficiencies; 

v  Prepare and implement disaster recovery processes and procedures; Participate in disaster recovery exercise;

v  Plan, research, execute and recommend data conversions and deployments;

v  Remain subject matter expert in database field of
